Here is the finished CG version of the Holy Avenger fanart.

Finally got round to colorin it today. Spent alot of time just fixing the color tones after I finished coloring. I wanted to get just the right feel of a rainy day... so there was alot of messing with the color balance and hue saturation. =^.^=

Lisandra got cough in the rain and didn't want to get wet so she used her natural powers and made an umbrela... corny idea, but the resulting pic doesn't look all that bad to me. =^.~=

Edit: Re-edited the pencil... fixing the old pixeled line work.

Well, I loved this drawing since the very first time I laid my eyes on it! But I must tell you that this coloring yu did just adds to the pic`s quality! Great job... No... A-M-A-Z-I-N-G job!!!!! ^_^

WOW! WOW! HOLY WOW! The rain looks SO perfect! I love this picture SO much! I thought that the pencil work was good, but man, this is so awesome! No... Its amazing! You have to teach me how you did this!

Well, it's a bit complicated to explain in detail just now... hmmm... I used the same basic process in this one as I did in the "Sparrow starfighter" pic. Remember the "Making Of"? In short it's like this:

1 - Scanning the pencil work;
2 - Making the pencil layers transperant;
3 - Coloring under the transperant pencil layers;
4 - Doing the shading and volumes with the dodge/burn tool;
5 - Glows and other FX (such as the rain in this case) done in separate layers.

I don't use a tablet or any other sofisticated tool, just pencil, eraser, scanner and mouse. =^.^=

You should make a tutorial going into depth about your CGing, with screen shots and alot of detail... If I had money I would pay you to do it ^_^

Hmmm... maybe I will... have to admit that I'm a bit lazy to make a tutorial, I have enough work just CGing these pics, hehe. If I make one though, you'll be the first to know, promisse! =^.^=

PS - Payin meh would sure help me lose that lazyness, hehe. =^.~=
